Sr. Market Research Analyst

Sr. Market research Analyst is needed to perform the following duties: 

o   Research market conditions for the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Collect data on existing conditions in pharmaceutical and healthcare industry
  • Analyze data to discover trends and patterns existing in pharmaceutical industry
  • Research current and upcoming pharmaceutical products

o   Gather data and assess competition to identify product gaps.

  • Identify and research business competitors, study current & upcoming offerings
  • Develop comparative analysis by collecting data on competitors
  • Research current trend, conduct competitor analysis and identify valuable products
  • Present key findings to management and Research & Development team

o   Analyze business conditions to effectively engage in strategic planning and decision making

  •  Analyze business environment to determine its strength, weakness, opportunities and threats
  • Understand the purchasing and pricing strategy of the business
  • Run deep-dive analysis & answer ad-hoc business questions to drive marketing strategies, create insight
  • Identify strategic issues and fundamental choices facing the organization.

o   Devise market research project to gauge customer attitude towards new and existing products

  • Design questionnaire and collect data on customer feedback regarding existing and new products
  • Analyze collected data, draw results and conclusion to gauge product performance.
  • Use insight from results to improve and optimize existing products
  • Devise market research studies to understand consumer demands and preferences

o   Monitor, manage and analyze product/ customer data and identify the target market to develop business.

  • Analyze customer and product data to identify the right audience for launching new products or exploring new territory for existing products
  • Use SPSS to analyze customer behavioral data, demographics, segmentation and transform it into meaningful insights of benefit
  • Develop plan for customer acquisition
  • Build customer database and share with marketing team
  • Device specific promotion plan based on customer attributes
  • Launch customer specific creative campaigns

o   Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and product promotions

  • Track the effectiveness of marketing activity through sales and customer feedback
  • Collect data and make marketing metrics to measure all performance of campaigns

o   Monitor product labeling to maintain compliance with FDA regulation

  • Keep abreast with current FDA product labeling guidance
  • Monitor and compare current products to National Brand’s labeling to stay up-to- with company’s products
  • Present findings to Regulatory affairs and management
  • Implement applicable changes to marketing/promotional campaigns 

Bachelor Degree is required in  Marketing or Marketing Management or Pharmaceutical Marketing.
